Local Alliance Network (LAN) is a long distance program
brought to you by eight local, independent telephone
companies and one electric cooperative. These companies:
- Pay property taxes in your community
- Are involved with area economic development
- Employees live and work in your towns
- Send their children to your schools
- Strive to provide quality telephone and electric
services
- Are concerned with keeping costs competitive
|
By working together, these companies
created Local Alliance Network. Local Alliance Network
provides a simple to understand program without extra
fees or charges, such as "Universal Connectivity
Charges", surcharges and minimum usage fees. Check
your current bill carefully.
If you see one or any of these fees on your
bill, you're probably paying too much for long distance!
Another huge benefit of using LAN is
6 second incremental billing. Several long distance
companies round up to the next full minute, charging
for time that you haven't used. After the first full
minute, LAN breaks down your bill in 6 second increments.
