Local Alliance Network (LAN) is a long distance program brought to you by eight local, independent telephone companies and one electric cooperative. These companies:

Pay property taxes in your community
Are involved with area economic development
Employees live and work in your towns
Send their children to your schools
Strive to provide quality telephone and electric services
Are concerned with keeping costs competitive

By working together, these companies created Local Alliance Network. Local Alliance Network provides a simple to understand program without extra fees or charges, such as "Universal Connectivity Charges", surcharges and minimum usage fees. Check your current bill carefully.

If you see one or any of these fees on your bill, you're probably paying too much for long distance!

Another huge benefit of using LAN is 6 second incremental billing. Several long distance companies round up to the next full minute, charging for time that you haven't used. After the first full minute, LAN breaks down your bill in 6 second increments.

Option #1 - Anytime Anyplace

The Anytime Anyplace program allows you to purchase a block of minutes at a reduced rate. Choose the program that best fits your calling habits.

500 Minutes per Month	$35.00
1000 Minutes per Month	$68.00

Customer will be charged the flat rate regardless of actual minutes used. Any time over package will be charged at 12¢ per minute. Personal 800 minutes are included in the package. Calling Card minutes are not included in the package. Rates apply to Continental USA only.

A low, flat 13 cent per minute charge, anytime, anyplace in the Continental USA
No monthly fees
6 second incremental billing after first full minute
Volume discounts

Volume discounts apply automatically when you reach the discount tiers. As you make more long distance calls, you pay less per minute. In addition, all of your long distance charges apply to the discount including personal 800 numbers and calling card calls.

Personal 800 Numbers & Calling Cards

Rather than placing a collect call, a personal 800 number or calling card is a great way to save money and stay in touch. Personal 800 numbers are charged a flat 14¢ per minute with 6 second incremental billing after the first full minute and calling cards are a flat 25¢. Both have no monthly service charge or initial setup charge.
