Ayrshire, Iowa, established in 1882, celebrated its 125th Anniversary The Ayrshire Quasquicentennial Committee would like to invite you to be a part of our celebration, June 29th through July 1st. The possibilities are endless for you to become an important part of this exciting weekend. You can enter in the parade, sponsor a youth activity, provide prizes for games, or simply make a monetary donation to help make the weekend as fun as possible. June 29th starts off the weekend with free entertainment at the ByPass in Ayrshire. An old fashioned "walk-in" movie is planned for the young and the young at heart.
June 30th activities start with a parade at 10:00 am. Activities for all ages begin after the parade with an inflatable bounce house, giant slide, and gladiator joust provided by TJ Party Rentals. Lunch will be provided at Ayrshire Quick Stop and ByPass. The All School Reunion will begin at 4:00 pm across the street from the Legion Hall. There will be a supper provided by the Palo Alto County Cattlemen that will be open to the public. The dances will be held from 8:00 pm to Midnight. With two bands available, there will be something for everyone. A Sand Volleyball tournament will be played on June 30th and July 1st. Registration deadline is May 31st. more info July 1st, there will be a Pancake Breakfast 8:00-12:30 provided by the Ayrshire Legion.
